ZionLink exists because caching alone was never going to solve network latency — and we thought someone should build the layer that does.
We started ZionLink after years of watching the same pattern repeat across every company we worked at: teams would adopt a CDN, see static assets get faster, and then hit a wall the moment traffic wasn't cacheable. APIs, personalized pages, and live data still crawled across whatever the public internet happened to be doing that day.
So we built the thing we kept wishing existed: a network layer that treats routing, protocol tuning, and security as first-class citizens alongside caching — one platform that accelerates a request whether or not it can be cached at all. That's ZionLink today, running across 180+ points of presence on a private backbone we operate ourselves.

ZionLink is founded
Started by a small team of network engineers who kept building custom routing and caching layers for every employer — and decided to build the platform once, properly.
First 20 edge points of presence
Launched the initial edge network across North America, Europe, and East Asia, alongside the first version of the routing acceleration engine.
Protocol optimization goes live
Shipped HTTP/3 and QUIC support platform-wide, along with adaptive TCP tuning — cutting median latency by double digits for existing customers overnight.
100+ PoPs and SOC 2 Type II
Crossed 100 points of presence and completed SOC 2 Type II certification as larger regulated customers came on board.
Private backbone and 180+ PoPs
Brought the private inter-region backbone online, removing the public internet from the middle mile between major ZionLink regions.
Expanding into new regions
Continuing to grow edge coverage in underserved regions and deepening backbone capacity where customer traffic is growing fastest.
